Project Manager (Groundworks) – North Dublin

Salary: Negotiable (SBOE)

Due to increased expansion, our client are now looking for a Project Manager to join their North Dublin team, delivering a range of projects. The candidate will be taking projects from award stage, through construction and commission for the clients handover stage. Work includes managing several crews carrying out all aspects of Civil Engineering.


· Study drawings and make calculations to identify requirements,

· Plan and organise projects,

· Draw up and implement daily, weekly, monthly schedules,

· Supervise the work of staff and sub-contractors,

· Ensure that work is carried out efficiently, meets the company’s third party accredited standards for safety, quality & environment,

· Coach and manage the work of individual team members, ensuring that they are appropriately trained and aware of the standards of performance required, providing guidance and feedback and carrying out appraisals,

· Order supplies, keep records and monitor all supplier costs. Meet with sales representatives in order to negotiate prices and order supplies,

· Monitor & record progress of works with regards to original tender and completing daily productivity sheets for review by the managing director,

· Drafting weekly/monthly progress reports and incorporating variations encountered throughout the project,

· Participate in checking of all purchased supplies for quality and account for each delivered item,

· Identify training and learning experiences for new & existing employees and ensure that they develop the skills appropriate to their phase of training,

· Carry out other work as required. All employees are required to be flexible and this may include carrying out work outside of your normal area of work.


Professional Requirements

· Honours degree in Civil Engineering

· 2-5 year’s experience in a similar role

· Enthusiastic & self motivated to progress the company further

· Ability to work under pressure, whilst ensuring deadlines are met
