About the Role:

We currently have a unique opportunity for a Site Clerk with a leading offsite building company in Cork. The company in question is a well established firm with operations all over the country. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience on site working as a Site Clerk, Junior Site Manager or Document Controller with a main contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to join leading offsite building company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the use of plant on site both own plant and hire plant and charges appropriately
  • Manage the day to day running of the site office and provide administrative support to the site team
  • Filing of site reports, orders, and memos
  • Compiling and inputting weekly time sheets
  • Provides instructions for deliveries and signs off as appropriate
  • Controls the movement of employees/visitors on site
  • General administrative duties as required by the Site Manager or Contracts Manager
  • File site project documentation
  • Maintaining health and safety records and tool box talks
  • Document control, order processing and administrationplanner
  • Assist with meeting set up; meet and greet visitors to the site office
  • Assist sub-contractors with queries
  • Procurement of site materials and related activities performed on site
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by site management


  • Degree Educated in Construction/Engineering Discipline
  • 1 year site experience with a building contractor would be advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
