Senior Engineer – Dublin

Our client, is currently on the lookout for a Senior Engineer in Dublin. The company in question are well-established the main contractor in Ireland and work across a wide range of sectors. They have multiple exciting  projects commencing across the country, the successful candidate will be working on a commercial build. They are looking for an individual with relevant main contractor experience. This is a full time, permanent position, with great scope for career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Plan the delivery of the project at hand with the site management team
• Mentor & supervise a team of Junior Engineers
• Checking setting out work
• Supervision of sub-contractors and trades
• Liaise with architects, client and stakeholders
• Report progress on projects to project manager, maintain and update project reporting to a high standard.
• Co-ordinate required materials and labour

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering/Construction related discipline
• 5+ years engineering experience on buildings projects, in a main contracting environment
• Knowledgeable and confident in dealing with clients and other project teams
• Excellent programming and reporting skills
• Highly computer literate in relevant tools, including MS Office, project programming & analysis tools
