QA QC Supervisor (Modular Construction)

Key Responsibilities

• Promoting compliance with, and governance of, company quality policy
• Help to develop a culture of Right 1st Time’ approach within the company
• All QC checks have been completed. This requires checking and signing-off of production teams completed work and completion of final inspections of modules in production and pre-transport checks
• Non-conformances (NC) – providing Quality NC reports with root cause analysis and lessons learnt for issues, following up issues that arise
• Completion of trend analysis and lessons learnt reviews
• Liaising with site and installation teams to review effectiveness of quality processes
• Providing training / quality awareness sessions with production staff to ensure company standards are achieved
• Development of Quality Management Plan
• Development, overseeing and implementation of quality checklists and auditing processes
• Use the full capacity of the BIM 360 Build app to record all stages of the assembly.
• Development and updating of current quality processes in line with industry best practice and client requirements
• Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that they meeting quality standards including providing Quality assurance audits and performance reviews with supply chain
• Production of weekly / monthly Quality reports, completing KPIs for manufacturing processes
• Working closely with storesperson to control incoming material
• Control and testing and calibration of all measuring equipment in use, tape measures, spirit levels, laser levels
• Ensure every module is fully compliant with the IFC design drawings before shipment

You will need

• 3 years’ experience in a similar quality role in Construction or Manufacturing
• Modular/Offsite experience highly desirable but not essential
• Technical competence with the ability to set and track milestones and deliverables
• Excellent People Management skills with the determination to implement a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the company
• Strong IT and Reporting skills with a high attention to detail
