Site Engineer (Modular)

About the Role

We’re working with one of Ireland’s leading offsite construction companies in their search for a Site Engineer in Kildare. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the fastest-growing sectors of construction, with a busy order book outside of Dublin city centre.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all site engineering works and be responsible for the management of Civil subcontractors whilst monitoring their performance on the job
• Setting out for modular projects in the Greater Dublin/Leinster area
• Advising on the best engineering solutions to meet with clients’ needs and budgets
• Responsible for preparing engineering calculations where required for the design of projects and supervise the drafting
• Consolidate a reputation for innovative engineering, technical expertise and professionalism.
• Implementing engineering systems, documentation and controls by compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Company and industry standards
• Attending weekly management meetings and ensuring all health & safety standards are adhered to

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in a similar role
• Degree in Engineering or other construction related discipline
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Competent in the use of instruments for purposes of setting out and gathering information
