We have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a medium sized Irish building contractor in Monaghan. They have recently secured a number commercial & residential projects and are expanding their commercial team. The successful applicant will join a strong commercial team and will answer to a Senior QS. This is a permanent position and an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor.
Role:
- Day to Day commercial management of sub contract packages
- Compiling and sending out tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers
- Cost analysis of tender prices
- Measuring the works
- On-Site valuations and progress reports
- Monthly cost/value reports and management accounts
Experience/Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal & Communication skills
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Ability to work on own initiative
- 1+ years experience in a similar role
- High level of computer skills especially using excel.
- Hard-working and Diligent
