Document Controller (Construction) – Dublin 4

Salary: up to €40,000 + pension

We have an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller to join a leading main contractor in South Dublin. The company in question are a highly regarded national building company with an excellent track record of delivering high-profile projects ranging from €10m – €100m. This is a full time permanent position with an attractive salary on offer for the right person.


  • Control all project BCAR related documentation
  • Responsible for all biweekly reporting to the Assigned Certifier.
  • Coordinate commencement notices, completion certificates and other relevant communication
  • Administration regarding the Bcar process and liaise with all site team members regularly
  • Attend Meetings with Design Team and Project Teams
  • Review Design Team Inspection Plans and ensure all relevant hold and witness points are communicated to Site Management and Subcontractors
  • Identify, agree and create all subcontractor ancillary certificates for various stages of the project with the Design Team
  • Review and coordinate BCAR tracking documentation for various phases of the project
  • Liaise and agree with document control the list of Project specific placeholders for upload to the document management system
  • Update BCAR tracking documents as works progress and are closed out
  • Review and coordinate all material test reports in conjunction with Structural Engineer and Site Engineer
  • Control of Contract Drawings and ensuring that drawings are transferred to the site wide document control system and exported to BIM 360 field.
  • A minimum of 2 years site construction experience.
  • A knowledge of the BCAR process is required (training provided)
  • Knowledge of BIM is beneficial but not essential (training provided)
  • Main contractor, subcontractor, experience or similar preferred
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project etc.
