Site Manager (Urban renewal project) – Limerick

Salary: €50,000 - €55,000 based on experience

Our client, a large civil main contractor, is looking to add an experienced Site Manager to their team in Limerick. The company itself are a well established contractor who have delivered notable projects all over the country. The successful candidate must be a well-rounded manager with excellent communications skills. This is a permanent position, and previous experience on civils projects is essential.

site managerResponsibilities:

  • Liaising with the PM, Design Team & Client
  • Managing Subcontractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on site and
  • Supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget
  • Managing and implementing the Safety Management System
  • The management of all construction activities
  • Plan programme works
  • Dealing with Local Authorities and Consulting Engineers
  • Dealing with Quality Control and Safety on Site


  • Minimum 7 years’ site management experience
  • Relevant 3rd level Degree would be advantageous
  • Previous main contracting experience would be beneficial
  • IT literate – emails, reports, management systems
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness
