Our client, a large civil main contractor, is looking to add an experienced Site Manager to their team in Limerick. The company itself are a well established contractor who have delivered notable projects all over the country. The successful candidate must be a well-rounded manager with excellent communications skills. This is a permanent position, and previous experience on civils projects is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with the PM, Design Team & Client
- Managing Subcontractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on site and
- Supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget
- Managing and implementing the Safety Management System
- The management of all construction activities
- Plan programme works
- Dealing with Local Authorities and Consulting Engineers
- Dealing with Quality Control and Safety on Site
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years’ site management experience
- Relevant 3rd level Degree would be advantageous
- Previous main contracting experience would be beneficial
- IT literate – emails, reports, management systems
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness
