Civils Foreman

Our client, a leading construction civil engineering company are looking for an experienced Civils Site Foreman to their team in Kildare. Currently the client is working on multiple sites and requires the right candidate to be flexible. The company in question are a medium sized civils contractor who have built a strong reputation and a growing business throughout the country with 25 years experience in the Irish market. The role is a permanent/staff role.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with the PM, Design Team & Client
• Managing Subcontractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on site and
• Supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget
• Managing and implementing the Safety Management System
• The management of all construction activities
• Plan programme works
• Dealing with Local Authorities and Consulting Engineers
• Dealing with Quality Control and Safety on Site

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ site management experience
• Relevant 3rd level Degree would be advantageous
• Previous main contracting experience would be beneficial
• IT literate – emails, reports, management systems
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness
• Must be flexible and open to travel
