With almost three quarters of Ireland’s construction industry leaders expecting commercial and residential building activity to increase over the next year and UK construction companies reporting a solid start to the second quarter of 2017, it’s no wonder things are pretty busy for our offices in Dublin and London. We have some exciting new roles on prestigious buildings projects spread across the island of Ireland along with a number of large infrastructural works and residential projects in London.
Along with the recently announced €2bn development of a new urban centre at Cherrywood, the €1bn Children’s Hospital was signed off on by the cabinet last week adding to the long list of high profile mixed developments planned to go to site in Dublin & Cork in 2017. After what was a slow start to the year for infrastructure, we’re now receiving requests from civil engineering contractors to recruit for recently announced motorway projects and water/wastewater treatment plants throughout the country. Here are just a few of our current openings:
- Project Manager – Cork City | up to €75k + vehicle
- QS (Developer) – Dublin | up to €60k
- Civil Engineer – Wexford | up to €45k
Our clients in the UK remain very positive despite the uncertainty over Brexit. We’re currently involved in the recruitment for some exciting projects including the £2.5bn redevelopment of Wembley, early stage works for the third runway at Heathrow and many of the 455 skyscapers in the pipleline for London city:
- Project Manager (Main Contractor) – Wembley | up to £80k + package
- Senior Engineer – Tower Bridge | up to £65k
- Project Manager – Heathrow | up to £65,000 + package
